Meet the founder
I've spent nearly a decade in esthetics, most of it in the treatment room: brows, Brazilians, sugaring, lamination and tint, and the slower skin work that never photographs as well as it feels.
I learned the business side in Seattle, running spa operations and hiring, before bringing it south to San Diego. Along the way I trained in cosmetology at Paul Mitchell San Diego, and built Chic Mi around something I kept noticing in both cities: people want their hair and their skin looked after by one person who knows their history.
Expect a real consultation before anything else, a room that stays calm, and a straight answer, even when that answer is that your hair needs three months, not one appointment.
Anyone can take the hair off. I want you happy with your reflection a week after you've left.
